Before Nikolay Davydenko’s performance at the 20th anniversary “Kremlin Cup” he gave the press-conference. The majority of the questions were about the Masters trophy he has won in Shanghai recently (please note that he won Rafael Nadal in his finals).
“The joy after the match disappears quickly, but the confidence still remains with me, - said Nikolay. – Of course, it’s pleasure to hear “Congratulations to you!” all the time. I’d like to save the same self-confidence till the tournament in London. But before that I have to show my best tennis performance in Valencia and Paris.”

I can't miss the tournament in Moscow, although I won't get score points even if I win, because I won two ATP 250 tournaments, - said Nikolay. "In Moscow I have my friends and fans, who want to see me and whom I want to see as well".
Concerning the upcoming match against Marat Safin, Nikolay said: "Everybody is interested in our match. I'm interested in it as well and it's a pity that one of us will finish the tournament in the first round. I wonder if I’ll get used to the court and new balls".
