Wilde nog een analyse van de wedstrijd geven voor de zure verliezers, maar dat zou toch niemand geloven. Op Mtf stond echter een perfecte beschrijving die precies aansluit bij wat ik hier schreef en hoe de wedstrijd was. Cilic extreem goed eerste twee sets en daarna een logische drop waar Federer gretig gebruik van maakte.
En dat het een geweldige wedstrijd was. 

Match of the year. Congrats on Federer achieving a miraculous comeback,playing at a high level. In the first two sets, Federer was subdued and Cilic served very well, holding serve extremely easily at points. He also hit lots of clean winners, blasting Federer off the court. However, the only thing that caused a 2 set deficit was that Federer played a bad TB and Cilic converted the only chance he had to break with some great returns. Federer wasted BPs and looked like he was going out in straights at 3-3 0-40 in the 3rd...... Then what I saw was that Federer found his backhand all of a sudden. He had 2 horrible BH misses at 4-5 in the 2nd, but it held up in the next points and he hit the forehand with enough control. Cilic of course "choked", but it was just a natural drop of level at the worst moment. Federer turned the tide, and captured 3rd set. Fourth set was the best on quality and drama, Federer hit 20 winners and 6 UEs. They both played nice tennis to hold serve until 4-5, when Cilic had MP but missed 2nd serve return. Then Cilic played well in another return game and won another MP, but was aced by Federer. In the TB, both were nervous and Federer shanked multiple times, while Cilic missed 2nd serve return on MP again, then DF gave Federer the edge. Some great rallies toward the end, and nice drama! In the fifth set, Federer was completely in form, missed BP at 3-2 but put lots of pressure. Finally, he broke at 4-3, with BH pass, FH pass, and peak CC forehand. At last he served it out with 2 aces! Cilic was playing really well, but his nerves got to him Federer won this match with a bit of luck, but nevertheless he deserves it the way he fought and with his level. Respect to both players, amazing match
